Lifestream is blank!

I've spent the last two days trying to get the Lifestream bit at the top of the layout to work and I just can't make it work! The plugin itself works if I take it and put it in as a the sidebar as a widget but the bit at the top of the page, regardless of what feed I try and use, it doesn't come up, it just stays blank. I was getting the fatal error message on line 11 but I fixed that with the other recommend fix. My databases are the correct versions and all that...so I'm really stuck.

Can anyone give me an idea of what to do or what this would be happening? I really want to use this theme for the relaunch of my two sites I'm merging together because it's perfect but this one this, which was part of the things I liked most about it, has me considering a backup plan.

HELP!
