How do I upload things on to the theme, I always hear " Upload it into themes/flashlog/ etc." but I never understood how... I am a bit of a tech noobie and would really appreciate the help...

You can do it the same way you've uploaded theme to your themes folder.
Use FTP or your hosting control panel.
