How to Modify PSD?
Okay, so I have the original PSD file for the theme. What are the steps for using it to modify the theme?
I assume I start by opening it in Photoshop and making some changes (probably being careful not to disturb things such as layers - and what else must I be careful about). Not being an expert in Phootoshop, some clear guidelines/advice would be useful.
Then what? How do the changes get into the theme?
A little research has uncovered the fact that there are PSD to HTML and PSD to PFD converters - something I knew nothing about. So do I need some of this software for the next step? And then what? How do the PSD changes actually get integrated into the theme.
I'm sure this might be a useful generic topic, but any guidance would be helpful. Thanks.
